Re: Why American car companies are failing
I just picked up a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, decked out with everything except the V8. Paid 19K for it. 5K miles later still happy with it. My family here has 4 Jeeps besides mine, my dad has a 2008 Grand Cherokee with the diesel, put 80K miles on it the first 6 months with zero problems.

Re: What kind of animals have you lived with?
As an adult, have had 3 dogs, 3 cats, currently have 2 of each. And some fish and newts.
Growing up, tons of cats, couple of dogs, and for a while I had a bull as a pet, until it was time for the slaughter for Christmas. Still got the tanned skin from him stored in Norway somewhere....

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I know in Norway cars used to be, and still are I think, taxed/tariffed on: engine size engine power weight of the car original price (I don't think they tax in on fuel consumption/emissions, yet). I calculated how much it would cost me to take my 2001 Trans Am WS6 in, and it was not funny price! TH...
