The point is, the kid's in 3rd grade. There's a reason some decisions are left in the hands of parents until a child's a certain age. If it was my kid, I doubt I'd respect his wishes and just hope he'd grow out of it soon. If he didn't, I hope I'd be OK with it, but I was barely sentient when i was ...

Re: Obama WILL be the next president
I predict McCain/Giuliani over Obama/Edwards in the big game. I'm an Obama supporter and really want him to win, but I don't think Americans as a whole are really ready for big changes, and I'm sure McCain has a few tricks up his sleeves. I could be way off though. I haven't lived in the states in y...

The comment wasn't malicious or racist, but the magazine cover was obvious race-baiting. What they did was as bad as what Sharpton's doing, and the editor deserved to be 'replaced'.

Even if the government didn't allow journalists access to Guantanamo, how would it prevent people like the British detainess who were released from speaking to the press? I had a bout of kidney stones a while back. It's unpleasant, but bearable. I must be the only person who wasn't impressed by Will Smith's performance in this movie. The parts where he acted 'crazy' were the funny parts in the movie. Mid, my problem with your opinion is that you seem to view prison rape as part of his punishment. There should be no perp on perp rape going on in prisons. It's not supposed to be a 'nice' place, but it shouldn't be candyland for violent rapists. I don't have much sympathy for the guy, but correctio...

One time i bought one of those little tiny pirate costumes for kids from Wal-Mart. If you never hit the gym, once you start lifting you should notice an increase very quickly. I guess it depends on how much weight you want to put on. At 5'10 130 I bet you could put on 15-20 lbs in a few months just by going to the gym. I can't stand going on funky diets.

It is easier to side with someone when they are being bullied than to side with the bully.
