I think I'd be willing to give up tax deductions to help "raise revenue"
Drop my 3-child tax credits.
Surrender my mortgage interest deduction.
Maybe give up my tax free medical spending account status.
2 birds with one stone, raise taxes by simplifying the tax rules etc.

Question about federal spending.
Personally, Do you care about the US federal government spending more money than it brings in? We've been getting away with it for so long, many people don't even think about it anymore. Do you care? Would you personally be willing to give up a benefit program like social security, or an aircraft ca...

Did you see were P. Obama got on stage and lectured the Supreme Court as to what their role should be?
I don't think that was smart.
Those guys are untouchable and probably have big egos.
Attempt to score media perception points at the risk of having your law overturned?
Amateur move?

I agree. There's lots of flak out there that seems to distract from the base issue. How are homosexual acts harmful? How do they apply to society? Does having a family of any type, better than having a family formed by being in a state system? I think *a* fear of anti-gay marriage folk is the idea that the child brought into a gay family will be taught gay accepting culture set. I finally got out of college, got married, and my job right now doesn't give me many opportunities to follow up on message boards.
I wish I could check in more often. I enjoy it.
