911 Real-Time

Is the original VV-IGN 911 thread completely gone now or does someone have a link to it?

I like to go back and read it from time to time as it's interesting to see the comments about the events that were in real time back then.

Anyone catch "In Bin Ladens's Footsteps" on CNN last night? I thought it was fairly well done. They intereviewed several people that had met him from childhood up until recent times.

The ABC 911 movie (2nd part airs tonight) is also interesting although they seem to be tearing apart Clinton and his administration's decisions even more than even I'd like to add to the drama.

I think the CNN special on Bin Laden has been airing in bits and pieces for a month or two now. There should be links on CNN.com for most of the info as it was one of the banner stories last month.

Voronwë made the post, and his post listing only goes back as far as July of 2002. So yeah, it's gone.

Well you're wrong!

veeshanvault.org was registered 02-Jul-2002. I'm pretty sure this 9/11 5th anniversary hoopla indicates that the 9/11 they refer to was in 2001.

I know I've linked it before from this new message board (as has at least one other person before).

I can't find the thread though using search. It's possible the link thread was deleted during the last database rebuild though.

If anyone's good at searching, at least the link may still be here somewhere (if IGN still exists)

I found the files.

I have them zipped up 300k.

I have it saved in a series of downloaded HTML with picture directories. It includes 6 separate pages for the thread.

How shall I get these to you?

Oh, i didn't mean click on it, but the tool tip that comes up tells the address that the form sends to. Try sending it to mpollak at gmail.
