Well, he seemed extremely aware and clear headed for having taken 35 pills. Don't really care all that much either way but from watching him, listening to what he said and how he spoke I would believe that it was not a suicide attempt. Doesn't mean the woman didn't think it was though.

I have a Dell as one of my boxes that I got for free. That one is quite excellent, plenty of space for upgrades etc. Also was pleasantly surprised when I ordered two LCD monitors from them, they arrived very fast.

I had a similar issue after a Windows Update of all things heh, ended up having to reinstall the SATA and RAID drivers. As the others have said, I do not believe your disks are dead but I would not rule it out 100% yet. Smells like corruption to me.

Wi-Fi is coming bigtime, at least here in Europe. Quite a few cell phones now have wi-fi ability built in. If you have wi-fi access it calls on that, if not it calls on cell connection. I predict Sony is ahead of the curve here actually.
