the Mylo is being lauded as an internet communicator device a defice with a full querty keyboard and a smallish 2.4" screen, it's primary function is that people can use IM, Skype and browse the internet (imbedded Opera Broswer) while on the go.
The thing also plays MP3's and Video.
The main drawback to this is that it only uses WIFI, not cell networks, so essentially, when you're out of wifi range, all you have is a hacked up PSP with a keyboard.
Is there anyone that IM's that much that they require to be online even when they're on the go?
Anyways, enough of the rant. Here's the thing in action, courtesy of Gizmondo.

That's what I was thinging. The main target is the college crowd. Colleges are usually wi-fi intensive as well as cities with city-wide wi-fi projects.(Toronto is working on this aren't they?)miir wrote:Perfect for people who live in large urban centres. The main drawback to this is that it only uses WIFI, not cell networks, so essentially, when you're out of wifi range, all you have is a hacked up PSP with a keyboard.
I havta admin that it's a pretty little device, the features just aren't something I would use on a regular basis.
