It's as if Bush thinks the laws of gravity apply to econimics! What goes up much come down, wealthy people get more money in their pockets so it must trickle down to the poor.

The problem there is that it's not the individual farmers who are sucking down billions every quarter. Ma and Pa Kettle's 100 acres in Tennessee aren't where most of that money goes. It's the huge corporately run mega-farms that suck down assloads of my tax dollars. We artificially keep the prices higher than the global market will sustain. Yes, this benefits the family farms (the few that are left), but it benefits the corporations A LOT more, and they are supposed to be operating in a free market.
