For me i would have to say Sleepy Hollow, the direction and scenery where just too badass, and a great movie to top it off
also liked the omen series a lot
I love all the old black and white movies with Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Boris Karloff, Lon Channy & JR., and Bela Lugosi.
The only movie that actually scared me though was a movie called Prince of Darkness. Not sure if I would get the same fright today as I did back then though.

Off-topic: I like the cars, specifically the Skyline GT-R, and I was hoping that at least the driving would be good. I've been planning to write up the movie so I'll do it on another thread.
On-topic: Not a huge fan of the horror genre. The movies I have seen have just been stupid.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.
I agree completely. Although since this movie actually terrified me, and I don't particularly like being terrified, I'll have to choose April Fool's Day as my "favorite" scary movie.
I agree with Grizz on the Prince of Darkness movie.... When I first saw it, it scared the hell outa me.
Halloween 1 and 2
Nightmare on elm street (first one of course)
Jeepers Creepers
and the Subspecies movies, while not really scary I thought they were pretty Good.
Dawn and Day of the Dead have been out of production for a while. However, Anchor Bay is doing special edition 2-DVD sets with Day of the Dead being released this August and Dawn of the Dead being released early next year. Supposedly, Dawn has all 3 versions of the film in the set!!! Also, it is rumored that Romero has the 4th installment waiting in the wings called "Dead Reckoning".
IMO Dawn of the Dead is the best horror movie of all time, especially given the budget. I can't wait for the new DVDs!!!!
