Yea, I think in some ways though in US politics it's less crucifying if things go wrong in the international scene (which I think they have with the whole WMD fiasco). The country here, as a whole, was definitely anti-war prior to the outbreak and Blair and co. basically pushed it through against the will.

I'd respond to you, but I'm still trying to find the word 'hypocrate' in the dictionary. For the record, I never claimed NOT to be an 'armchair political analyst'. You have an interesting conception of making money the hard way. Being born into an old money oil family and invading foreign countries so you can sell the rights to it's natural resources to the highest bidder doesn't sound terribly difficult to me.

Face it, Aranuil: A lot of people are not exactly happy with what USA is doing these days and quite a few would not mind if they got smacked down a bit. That doesn't make them terrorists, it makes them people who strongly disagree with how USA is handling international affairs. There are several existing countries with better standards of living than the US (Canada was #1 in the last study I saw).
