actually in just about every state if not all states you are required by law to carry a photo ID.Fairweather Pure wrote:I swear, that sounds like a police state to me. Fuck that noise.• NO ID -- Police arrested a 19-year-old man at 2:16 a.m. at Michigan and Washington boulevards on suspicion of failing to provide identification to a police officer.
I think we all need to know why the cops asked for his ID look at the age and the time of the action. These are just snipits from the local yocal newspaper.Fairweather Pure wrote:I swear, that sounds like a police state to me. This is a media log, straight as it was given, I think.Fallanthas wrote:"on suspicion"
For every entry??
Every police department I am aware of maintains a "media log" for local press to look over every morning. These are rewrites of what some reporter found in the log on the dates given.
They sure as hell aren't charges.
Don't take that to the bank. There are dickhead sargents, lieutenants and captains as well. The sane ones usually get promoted and therefore rarely interact with the general public.
Woman cops are a different breed altogether though. Women cops have to be pushy and dominant or they will get torn apart by men they try to arrest or interact with.Kelgar wrote:I don't interact much with cops, but I've met a few people that do. They all agree that there's a much higher tendency for the younger cops to be dicks. They often are too eager to prove themselves and are generally bigger cockknobbers. Same goes for the women cops as well, they have an even bigger chip on their shoulders.
