Just finished watching this. Magnificent. Americas story is a wonderous one indeed. I am so proud to be an American. Thank you HBO for making this film. This should be a mandatory watch for all high school students.

I do not equate the emo persona to those of a conservative mindset. I find them to be either non political or left-leaning. I thought emo was descriptive of those emo bands, etc. with people who are all depressed about things because they have no real strife in there life, but act like they do. I guess I have it wrong. What is there to fear, exactly? What if the other language wasn't Spanish -- what if it was Esperanto? Would you still be scared? I just don't see any negative effects from having people speak multiple languages.

I believe that there are those who have been working very hard to diminish patriotism and pride in being an American. I fear something like this is yet another device iused by those people. I'm all for voluntary learning of languages. I'm personally working on Spanish. I admire those who speak multiple languages. I think that is fantastic.

What foundation are you referring to? Nearly all of the founding fathers were bi-lingual (at least).
