No mention of hate. Just implied. Superiority seems to be a common thread amongst them all. I certainly do not subscribe to any similar feelings toward any race. I hate the way gay people act, the way they talk, the clothes they wear, their mannerisms, their lifestyles, their interests, and I generally try to avoid them, even on TV (except for America's Next Top Model, which surrounds 18 year old hot bitches, and I have priorities). BUT, I have a few gay friends, and I believe in their rights as human beings. I am slightly ashamed but I've come to accept that I'm a homophobe and I deserve whatever judgments people make of me for it.

Since that was a total hijack from what I can tell, I'll chime in. I treat homosexuality the same way I treat religion. It's a non issue for me unless someone bothers me about it. Being completely void of any religious beliefs, I have no hangups about gays. It's people living how they feel like living their lives. Who cares (unless you're a religious asshat).

Now, not liking the way certain people act is a different story. Nothing wrong with that. God fearing Christians bother me. I stay away from fundies.


I'm not gay but I support gay marriage. Sort of. I support ditching government involvement in marriage altogether and replacing them with civil unions for any couple (or more than a couple) that wish to enter into a legal contract to protect their assets. This has been covered before. If five women want to enter a civil union, more power to them. Again, who cares what people want to do as long as they're consenting adults.
