I think it is mainly due to the fact that I really enjoyed the book and understand what a huge undertaking it was to try and create a movie based on it. I understand that they didn't hit the mark on this, or hell even come all the close, but I admire the ambition and the effort and it makes me remember the book all that much more. When you think of the old classics like the Road Warrior series, Escape, and even Waterworld, they all have characters you can remember.
