Fully agree Sylvus, I just find that the majority of her posts claim how much more intelligent she is, then degrade into some name calling rant. I am sure she is an intelligent person. I would bet the majority of the posters on this site are above the norm in the intelligence category (even if they do not agree with your idealogy).

She could have just copy and pasted any response she posted over the last 6 months and it would have been the same post. She claims to have a group of trollers, but if you look at her history, she is one of the worst trollers we have.

I never understood the theory that you could hate someone on a message board. I enjoy almost every person who posts here, for one reason or another. Noel for his Nazi spelling thing, Kyou for her bitchiness. Winnow for his love of upsetting everyone. Some of the funniest things I have read have come from here. If she does not enjoy it then move on, have a good life and good luck.

She used to be a lot more articulate, but everyone has a breaking point. Eventually, its just not worth the effort to try and reason with the stubbornly willful ignorant, and you end up just resorting to the only method of interraction certain people understand. I've been straddling that line, myself, the last year or so, and the only reason I keep comming back is I have real life friends here. The shit gets old fast though, and you can only try and be civil so often, when you get your hand bit for your efforts. Then cynicism sets in and you derive entertainment the only way you can, namely bashing the living shit out of the retards. I think Kyo crossed that line probably before we even moved here from IGN, but I have no clue what (beyond her own stubborn rage) kept her comming here long past that point.

You are acting like General and Current Events are the only draw to this board. I like the Video Games, Computers and Tech, and Movies \ TV forums. I hear about new games coming out and even get chances to beta test them if I want, see lots of cool new shit thats being developed (projector on my cell phone that works for hours on 1 charge? awesome), and get some decent reviews on most of the big new movies and shows. General and Current are just there for fun, and learn something from time to time.

I'm sure there are other better boards for each of those, but this way I only have to go to one and I'm comfortable here haha. But if you have found one or a few that suit your purposes better, then no reason to be here.

kyoukan was adept at flaming people but her actual knowledge was no better than the "average" VV'er. It's absurd that she would call out the board as a bunch of retards when she had very little input outside of a opinionated political rants on this board. There is a group here that fell in love with her flames but don't confuse that with some sort of extraordinary intelligence. She had no inside track on the right answers on every topic.

This being a flame board, it makes perfect sense to want a poster like kyoukan here to keep things jumping. Cartalas should still be here as well. Post here or don't, the drama behind why you do or don't is a waste. This board has seen several high profile posters either stop posting or take a long leave of absence and the board doesn't miss a beat. We could use some new posters/opinions on this board but I can't remember the last active poster to "discover" this board.

Almost 38, but I am still in decent shape, especially considering I spent 6 months on crutches last year and am going back under the knife soon, it would appear. Tore my cartilage again on Friday. So if we go by the arthritis in my knees, then I am 86 years old.

I miss the Kyoukan. I went through phases of being behind what she was saying to thinking she was just fucking retarded, but I'd still like to see her posting here. Then again, I'm not affected by insults and flames. As long as the ignore function works, I don't care. Everyone that posts or was previously a regular here has added value at some point or another - if only for the added messages to read and pass the time with.
