I think I remember a very similar chart for BF2 or BF2142 stats a couple weeks ago.

You only made it to 1981 by two days. Maybe he was allowing a couple days for "self-discovery."

So because you're a Bush-supporting American, you have the right to post your opinion but Nick doesn't because he's from another country and opposes the war you love?

Lets go back to Nick's comparason of Bush and Saddam:

Saddam - repressive dictator, known for human rights abuses and military adventurism, estimated to have killed as many as 40K Iraqis per year

Bush - elected ruler (though some contest the legitimacy of some of the elections), suspected of human rights abuses, known for infringing and limiting civil rights of his citizens, enjoys near dictatorial powers due to his supporters controlling the US congress. Conservative estimates place his adventure in Iraq as responsible for 15K Iraqi deaths per year, more questionable estimates are 10x that.

Not exactly the most precise or accurate description of either man, by any means but the propagandists on either side don't give a fuck.

This is almost laughable, almost. I couldn't even count the times someone threw the IRL death wishes at me because they don't agree with something I said, Nick included on more than one occasion.

But it's someone other than me, so I guess that makes it alright. Keep the flow of ignorance coming guys, before it gets boring around here again.

Don't worry Funk, I could give a shit what opinion a George Bush/pro war/whatever retarded stance you think is acceptable/Rumsfeld cockjockey supporter has of me, they surrendered that privelage long ago.

You can go to bed now and rest in peace. Forever, preferably.
That was just by doing a quick search of threads I had posted on in the CE forum, this being in about the 5 result returned. I could keep looking but I think this is good enough.

Yeah, it may be less extreme then my comment, but it still fits the criteria. Then again, you will probably find some excuse.

Man you need to take off the shit-colored glasses Funk.

Wishing someone was dead and threatening to kill someone are two different things.

I don't wish you were dead (often), but I do wish you'd pull your head out of your ass and try to examine perspectives other than your own every once in a while. I'm getting a bit older now and it turns out, it's not actually possible to know everything. Careful investigation of well-thought out opinions other than your own can be extremely beneficial...

The difference between you and I on the subject of Nick:

You: Nick you're stupid I hate you go to hell and die in an all new Catholic and Protestant war!

Me: Nick, you're being a bit extreme in your views.

The funny thing is, there isn't anything extreme about stating the fact that Saddam was supported by the US, UK, France etc and attempting to take the moral high ground over him is a fucking joke.

There isn't anything extreme in stating the number of dead Iraqi's that were alive before the US led occupation of Iraq, except the sheer number of them. How the US/UK led coalition isn't responsible for them in some peoples eyes really is beyond me.

Those are the two "extreme" viewpoints I raised - the sort of viewpoint that's commonly accepted on every country on the planet except the US as simple reality.

If these actually were "extremist" viewpoints instead of fact I'd understand the distinction so many Americans make between liberal/conservative anytime anyone brings up something that suggests the US led occupation of Iraq was anything other than the bestest idea ever - instead of the hypocritical aggressive act of a terrified nation being led by corrupt officials out for revenge against anyone with dark skin, some oil and who lived in a piece of land that could strategically control certain elements of the Middle east. (which everyone else in the world told you wouldn't work and have been vindicated in this time after time).

But since they aren't, I cant.

Who said anything about death threats? It's like you people aren't even reading the goddamn thread. Someone commented on me saying something about wishing he was dead, and I gave an example of where he did the same thing. I couldn't possibly be any further from wrong in this situation... and I'm the one not seeing reality?

Well, he's going to argue that you're wrong, because he kind of made up a new term. No one has ever said "IRL death wish" before, they are usually referring to a "death threat".

Don't worry, he'll continue to flare up on these boards like the hemorrhoid that he is for another 3-7 days, then he'll get flamed badly enough that he'll claim that he doesn't "need this shit" and that he's going to "leave and never come back". At least 8 days of silence (perhaps as long as 2 months) will follow, and then he'll be back and repeat the cycle.

I wonder if certain people aspire to being the biggest douchebag 'round these parts, or if they just can't help it.

It's so amusing when you say shit like that, because a lot of the regular posters on the boards here are always "flared up" and run their mouths constantly. I just get to the point every so often because I get sick of every subject I comment on that the bulk of people here don't agree with me on turning into a thread about how stupid I am instead of me having a different opinion/being wrong/whatever.

God forbid any of you tried to have an intelligent conversation with someone with you opposite beliefs without resorting to name calling and whatever else. But it's the flame vault, thats what it's all about.... yeah.. keep hiding behind that one.

Nick, I wasn't specifically referring to this thread. You and I are (without me rereading) pretty much in full agreement here. Just saying that in the past if I've thought you were going too far, I've told you without the need to wish you were dead.

Since when have I been hiding from anything? I'm perfectly capable of having an intelligent conversation with anyone who is also capable of such a thing. There are quite a few people on these boards that have totally different opinions than me and are worthy of listening to and intelligently debating. You aren't one of them. You also have a history of being a douchebag (spitting on people, irl pk threats, etc), talking out of your ass, taking your ball and going home... I'm sure there's more, but right now I'm not going to bother going through your posts to enumerate them.

There are only a handful of people who have come here, spewed their shit over every thread (a good sign is when you've posted in like the top 5 threads in any/every forum) with trolling or general assclownery, been jumped on by the general populace, and quit posting. Atokal, Pilsburry, Midnyte, You... and you're preparing for your second go at it. Congratulations, you're in rare company!

Please note that you started this thread by suggesting that you wanted to drink champagne while someone was killed, and then piss on their corpse. There isn't a whole lot of intelligent debate one can begin with that position. And the current state of this thread came about after you said:
Funkmasterr wrote:Nick has repeatedly ran his mouth on issues I do not believe he even has a right to speak on.
That is a completely stupid thing to say, and is the exact opposite of trying to have intelligent discourse. (Oh and since you're continuing the grammar nazi trend, the present perfect of "run" is "has run". You're mixing your tenses.)

There are quite a number of people on this board with whom I will disgree vehemently on a number of subjects. There have been a select few who I truly dislike immensely. You are one of them. I think that's what you aren't grasping. It isn't so much that we don't respect your opinions (though I'm going to wager that the majority of posters here don't), it's that you just aren't liked. You could stop talking politics/religion/gangster rap/shopping carts/any topic that tends to get people's blood boiling and the general attitude towards you will probably never change. Unless you change your reproachful approach, I fear you're doomed to be detested. My condolences... =\

It's possible to piss every individual off on a message board at one point or another and still not be completely detested. You just can't piss everyone off at the same time on all topics.

Value added content mixed in with flames and general asshattery helps, otherwise it may as well be called trolling.
