The funny thing is, there isn't anything extreme about stating the fact that Saddam was supported by the US, UK, France etc and attempting to take the moral high ground over him is a fucking joke.

There isn't anything extreme in stating the number of dead Iraqi's that were alive before the US led occupation of Iraq, except the sheer number of them. How the US/UK led coalition isn't responsible for them in some peoples eyes really is beyond me.

Those are the two "extreme" viewpoints I raised - the sort of viewpoint that's commonly accepted on every country on the planet except the US as simple reality.

If these actually were "extremist" viewpoints instead of fact I'd understand the distinction so many Americans make between liberal/conservative anytime anyone brings up something that suggests the US led occupation of Iraq was anything other than the bestest idea ever - instead of the hypocritical aggressive act of a terrified nation being led by corrupt officials out for revenge against anyone with dark skin, some oil and who lived in a piece of land that could strategically control certain elements of the Middle east. (which everyone else in the world told you wouldn't work and have been vindicated in this time after time).

But since they aren't, I cant.

Who said anything about death threats? It's like you people aren't even reading the goddamn thread. Someone commented on me saying something about wishing he was dead, and I gave an example of where he did the same thing. Well, he's going to argue that you're wrong, because he kind of made up a new term. No one has ever said "IRL death wish" before, they are usually referring to a "death threat".

Don't worry, he'll continue to flare up on these boards like the hemorrhoid that he is for another 3-7 days, then he'll get flamed badly enough that he'll claim that he doesn't "need this shit" and that he's going to "leave and never come back". I just get to the point every so often because I get sick of every subject I comment on that the bulk of people here don't agree with me on turning into a thread about how stupid I am instead of me having a different opinion/being wrong/whatever.

There are quite a number of people on this board with whom I will disgree vehemently on a number of subjects. There have been a select few who I truly dislike immensely. You are one of them. You could stop talking politics/religion/gangster rap/shopping carts/any topic that tends to get people's blood boiling and the general attitude towards you will probably never change.
