Anyway... People have given you advice. I don't get why people ask for advice and then argue against it.

I'd prefer to say that I question it, not argue it. Believe me, this thread has helped my situation immensely. I'd rather weigh my options than make decisions based upon the first opinion I see.

New turn of events...

He has poison ivy. His biology class went to some watery area and he contracted it. He posted pictures today and it's poison ivy if I've ever seen it. He wasn't baiting me at all.

So I got my panties in a knot over nothing, and she was a bit affronted that I brought the subject up in the first place. But after I explained that I was worried as a result of the tennis comment, all was well.

As for my trust... I was the one in the wrong here. She hasn't seen him in two months, as she said she wouldn't. I should be able to trust her after that, right?

I told her to shoot me with a 12-gauge if I do it again. I don't think I will, but time will tell. The butterflies in my stomach are gone for now. We'll see how it plays out.

Just remember, her showing that she can be trusted is only half of what is needed. The other half is your ability to trust.

Dump her. Keep your mind occupied with something else for about a month and you'll forget all about her. If that doesn't work. See an occupational hypnotherapist.

I have 3 advices for you:

1. Get out of the high-school state of mind and all the drama that exists in high school.

2. Stop dating girls and start dating women. Anybody stuck in #1 is a girl. Most at 19 are still stuck in #1.

3. Pretty much any issue in a relationship can be worked out if both people are 100% for it. Takes time, effort and work but is possible.
