I like stupid movies for the most part, but this wasn't consistantly funny enough to watch twice. In a couple spots it was hilarious, but mostly just dumb.
"Life is what happens while you're making plans for later."
I watched it tonight on Cinemax and really liked it. How did they make it? After watching the ending credits, it looked like they took an old kung fu movie, dubbed over the whole soundtrack, and then bluescreened in extra stuff.
"Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings." - John F Kennedy
Yeah, only 2 actors in the whole thing! They bluescreened "Dragon and Crane Fists", an old Kung Fu flick. The DVD has great special features that show how they did it--pretty neat actually.
I got this DVD as a birthday gift and got around to watching it last night
Fin Hilarious!
The jokes are a bit hit and miss but when they hit I laughed til it hurt.
If you're in the mood for something monumentally stupid this film is worth 78 minutes of your timeweeooweeooweeooweeoo
I thought this movie sucked. The jokes were 13 year old humor. I could get the same humor if I filmed people throwing pig poo at each other. It was painful to watch.
While poorly executed, the premise behind the movie is brilliant. I was disappointed in the end, but it was worth it for the absolutely ludicrous use of the original kung fu movie. Very counter-culture stoner fodder.
Worth one watch. Wouldn't drop money on it.
Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable, let's prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all. - Douglas Adams
