Uh-huh. It's only believable that the Republicans went on a negative campaign against Clinton during his term in office. It's not conceivable that the Democrats have been doing everything they can to seperate themselves from the Republicans to create a clear and distinct difference, because they were losing elections because their party was beginning to become moderate. Right. Keep living in your little blind world. Pathetic little minded idiot.Xzion wrote: Its not what "they" are doing to Bush, its what Bush is doing to himself.

There was no holocaust either, it's all just hearsay from some old jews.Aslanna wrote:Or you could subscribe to Midnyte's theory that they had no proof. It was all simply made up!Sueven wrote:Because it wouldn't change anything. Both Gore and Bush's legal teams selected issues that they felt gave them the best chance to win a court battle. Everything hinged on getting more votes. Decisions which said "well, this was done wrong, but in hindsight, there's nothing that can be done about it" are worthless. The issues that were adjudicated were therefore very particular and narrow. After Bush won, there was no longer any point to continuing the legal battle, as Gore could not become president, so the rest of it was never really settled.
But whoever believes that would be a complete moron so I doubt that includes anyone here.
Errr Midnyte, you have noticed how wierd stuff like TV and the net have made a great impact on how news are spread, right?Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Yes they must have. I hope we show more weakness to the rest of the world ask for more Un involvement in our affairs. LOL Unbelieveable how short sighted some of you people are. You just can't see the big picture at all. It's so fucking frightening.Cartalas wrote:Xzion wrote:I dont see how there can be any objection. Its Florida WAS RIGGED by the Bush admin. I would love to hear anyone right now dispute that. I personally know people who's votes were thrown out, becouse they were accused of a felony, but never convicted. Florida WAS RIGGED.
With this fact, it is obvious we need unbiased help on counting our election results.
I agree I feel the same way about Iowa the Gore won that state by less then 300 votes, Im sure a investigation would of turned up something. Im sure the democrats cheated some how.
The rest of the world already know what happened last time. Im not surprised how people can ask the UN for help on this, if the US election "problems" had happened in some backwater country the US itself would have shown up to make sure the election would happen with no cheating, it is only fair, and obviously needed, that the US need some kind of control on elections this time, when you look at what happened last time.

Actually Krimson, I was serious - I'm curious as to why you on one hand welcome the idea of outside election monitors but on the other so strongly oppose UN-appointed ones.
No sass, no smart-assedness, just curiousity.

Krimson Klaw wrote:I'm actually in agreement with wanting to avoid the same fiasco from last election and getting some observers to ensure fairness. But bringing in the crooked UN, who themselves are under investigation right now for financial wrongdoings? Why not bring in the Enron execs to oversee this?
We need someone to be there, like I said, maybe an ally, but not the UN.

Quakertown has nothing whatsoever to do with the Amish. I don't think a single Amish person lives in Quakertown. It was founded by Quakers, and there is a Quaker meeting house there, but Quakers and Amish are totally unrelated. Quakertown is just a little, boring redneck town ten minutes away from the Allentown suburbs. You'd have to drive another hour, hour and a half south or southwest if you wanted to find any Amish.Hey Drasta. Nah. Although I do live about 2 hours away from Quakertown.

so you think the UN is corrupt because ahmed chalabi has accused them of stealing from the oil for food program? ahmed fucking chalabi? are you serious? if that guy told me the sun would rise tomorrow morning I would run to the store and stock up on warm clothes for the coming catastrophe of the sun burning out.
