Ok this is both cool and kinda weird, while not breaking any physics laws it is certainly interesting in how it bends them to it's purpose

I remember reading about this in like 2002. The patent office took away his patent on it and he was afraid to sell it, because the idiots at the patent office were too stupid to figure out how it worked. I'm glad he got his patent back before some big company merely stole it, which is what happens to most small inventors in the US.

Some people just think on a whole other level than the rest of us.

Inventor Frank Polifka with a 6-foot version of his Windhexe.
An amazing accomplishment for a man barely 3 feet tall... /blink

The ramifications of this are impressive. If I'm reading this correctly, anything dumped into it turns out into a nice, fine powder.

I can easily see this being used to clean out garbage dumps in major cities. Imagine: 20 of those things working together handling roughly 2 tons of garbage each, daily. No pollution, just powder results; you could flush out garbage dumps across the globe down to less than a eighth their current size.

One would think this machine would be a nice device for getting rid of a dead body.

That's what I was thinking. Then again human powder is probably harder DNS evidence to wash off.

Mrs. Smith, do you think your husband would have preferred traditional burial, cremation, or our new "whirl till ya hurl" option?
