a few Taliban and/or AQ were walking through the mountains and one of them trips on a wire. wondering what the hell it leads to he picks up the wire and follows it until he finds a claymore. having no idea what the hell it is he looks it over and hands it to his buddy who takes a closer look, when all of a sudden, BOOM! LMAO! keep in mind, claymores are command detonated.

"THIS SIDE TOWARDS ENEMY"
The last thing, literally, you want to be reading on a plastic box you pick up.
Claymoore Antipersonel Devices are command detonated, yes, but they can also be configured as booby traps with a tripwire. Same danger to non-military personnel as a land mine etc. if left unattended.
As someone who was in a Combat Engineer unit I have a great dislike of land mines and other booby-trap like ordnance. They serve a purpose for a finite period of time, but they are indiscriminate in thier targets and are hazardous to deploy and even more so to recover. Even more so if the land mines themselves are booby-trapped to prevent enemy recovery/disablement.
I'll be happy when all land mines are gone and armies stop deploying them.

i've already said, i don't play EQ. maybe i'll pick it up when i get home. i'm deciding between that, galaxies, or FF. i'm new but i've posted regularly. as far as not making sense...no offense but if that is a requirment that why do half the people here post? i'm not here to start shit, far from it. ya'll can be pretty ruthless about your opinions, lol. nothing wrong with that, i'm just sayin. and yes i am in afghanistan. i have no reason to make that shit up.

i don't know their character names. my one friend who i met here (Afghanistan) plays on a different server but i'll ask him his Character name. and another friend of mine who i went through AIT with played a while back but doesn't play anymore. he was on Veeshan and said he was in FoH. anytime i've gone to the IC since i've been in the army, half of the computers are filled up with bastards paying 10 cents a minute to play EQ for hours on end, lol. that's really about all the exposure i've had to it, so far.
