Monitors and Consoles

Post by Kudo »

Anyone know if there is a way to use the S-Video plug on a PC to display console games on a monitor?

This question really confuses me. Game Console. Monitor. What's the PC have to do with it?

You're not very clear but if you mean the typical s-video on a video card. That's an Output. If you have something like an All-In-Wonder card it may be possible.

There's also a gizmo that converts S-video into RGB (along with the other frequency conversions necessary) I don't think it's cheap though. That way you can plug your monitor into your console directly.

Actually no, TV is fine, but what i wanted was to play my games on my monitor since it is much better. Weed Budget is fine.

I did a lot of searching, and the only place to buy it is from some UK websites. Costs about $95.
