Monitors and Consoles
Anyone know if there is a way to use the S-Video plug on a PC to display console games on a monitor?
Re: Monitors and Consoles
This question really confuses me. Game Console. Monitor. What's the PC have to do with it?Kudo wrote:Anyone know if there is a way to use the S-Video plug on a PC to display console games on a monitor?

You're not very clear but if you mean the typical s-video on a video card. That's an Output. If you have something like an All-In-Wonder card it may be possible.Kudo wrote:Anyone know if there is a way to use the S-Video plug on a PC to display console games on a monitor?
There's also a gizmo that converts S-video into RGB (along with the other frequency conversions necessary) I don't think it's cheap though. That way you can plug your monitor into your console directly.
Actually no, TV is fine, but what i wanted was to play my games on my monitor since it is much better. Weed Budget is fine.Voronwë wrote:so let me guess, your TV is shot, and you don't want to dip into your weed budget to buy a new one?
I did a lot of searching, and the only place to buy it is from some UK websites. Costs about $95.Winnow wrote:There's also a gizmo that converts S-video into RGB (along with the other frequency conversions necessary) I don't think it's cheap though.
