Some people might find this amusing, Part 2
Check this out.
Evidently after hitting up the rangers for beer money, engagement rings, and huge amounts of cash to run the glade, Sunmoon still needs more bling bling. The ranger reaction was considerably more mellow than the Shaman one, apparently. I wonder what other long running class sites are going to get bought up for spam email lists?

War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."
Dwight Eisenhower

Basically its Sunmoon telling the board that hes getting buy out and advertisement offers from Yantis and IGE. He also basically says he intends to take the best offer. This is particularly funny in his case because he has in the past solicited for donations constantly and even asked the community to pitch in for his engagement ring. Its also sad because its more community boards being eaten up by Yantis. Thank god SK.org got out from under $unmoon's thumb.

There was a thread about advertising involvement on the Steel Warrior too. It was closed but the way it was leading, most people seemed in favour of keeping Paypal donations over letting Yantis et al in.
I guess in the end, if people feel strongly about it, whats is to stop them from moving off a site and starting a new one (sorta like teh fnord did here) if the mods do sell out?
