If you just want to extract the ISO/CUE files but not burn them to a CD, WinISO is pretty useful. I have a burner now so I usually just burn the stuff.
Then after checking it out I of course destroy the discs and uninstall the software.

As long as the file is still seeded, it resumes just fine.... It has to be the exact file though..
If a file takes an extraordinarily long time, I usually kill the DL and start again like overnight or whatever...if it is a popular file, it will usually still be seeded (re: Kill Bill, etc...)..

If it gives that error and still says 'Connecting to Peers' you should still be ok unless you see no activity for UL or DL. When it gets a tracking error, it tries to reconnect (I am pretty sure). If it keeps erroring out with no link activity, it may be improperly seeded is my guess.

Just curious... But why do you need to convert 'bin' to 'iso'?Keverian FireCry wrote:Ok, I have the WinISO and a couple of other tools, but I cannot convert BIN files to ISO because the only program that does it is WinISO, but only if you pay the fee to register it...Is there a freeware program that can convert BIN to ISO files?
edit: nm found a crack for it

I'm not sure if I've posted it in this thread yet, but you can convert bin/cue files to mpeg using VCD Tools.

Which client is everyone using?
I was using Shadow's experimental client\BitTornado until I tried out Azureus. I'm not a big fan of Java apps in general but this client is very nicely done.

I use Azureus too. Much more flexible then the Experimental client. Lots of stats and features.Forthe wrote:Which client is everyone using?

I tried this Bit Torrent stuff awhile ago and it seemed slow and hard to find anything. Has it improved? Azureus has a nice layout and looks cool but how easy is it to find new movies, games, anime, etc?Aslanna wrote:I use Azureus too. Much more flexible then the Experimental client. ODC DC++ has been working great for me when I need specific anime titles or I need a rare app such as Theater Tek which you almost never find anywhere to download.
Is there a good search engine for Bit Torrent files and is it more for just the most recent and popular files that many are trading and not suited for finding the hard to get files?
I use Burst instead of Bittorrent Burst

For TV torrents:
http://www.btefnet.net
has all you need. They don't have a great retention time, but if you missed THAT SHOW YOU LOVE and you can't wait for a rerun or whatever, go here. They're mostly scene releases and the quality tends to be good.
