I'm looking forward to it, but the above trailer didn't do anything for me. Same moves, same facial expressions.. If they've got Van Wilder cracking jokes through the whole movie it's going to suck.

I enjoyed the first one. For some reason, I watched the first few minutes of Blade 2 and didn't feel like watching the rest.

I'm hoping Blade pulls off the rare:

2 Sucked

Blade 2 was much better than Blade 1 IMO. C'mon, the Blood Pack was great fun! Vampire mutants that ate vampires? Blade teaming up with his enemies to kill the common foe? It was straight off the pages of a comic book.

#1 pales in comparison!

Btw, the above clip os not a trailer, per say. It is the clip that was shown on the Mtv movie awards. The Alien vs. Predator clip they showed was pretty damn impressive.

Yeah, but the first movie really had that dark edge that the Blade comics had. The second movie felt more like the Vampire Killin' Brady Bunch.

Blade 1 Stylized, Swift, and cool
Blade 2 Fake, slow, and lame

If Blade 3 can even hit middle ground between them it will be worth renting on DVD

Blade 1 was cool, although i was a little dissapointed that they totally remade Blade, i liked him as he were in the old Tomb of Dracula comics.

Blade 2 sucked ass, seriously.
Just watching the HORRIBLY FAKE fights when the Bloodpack (or whatever the name was) broke into Blades hideout to talk to him was enough to make me feel ill.
The first one at least had some charm and something new about the vampire killings, whereas the 2nd just wanted to show as many vampires die, and show off effects which werent done very well.

I HOPE the 3rd gonna get better than the 2nd, but fear it isnt.

Liked both Blades!

2 had better fights IMHO since Donnie Yen was in it(Iceman), both as a char and as a fight coordinator.

No idea bout nr 3 but hoping the villains will be even nastier than in nr 2!

Besides, he is gonna marry Alanis Morisette. Talk about suffering. He needs a good movie to feel good about something.

Heh I know his name isn't Van Wilder, but thats the movie he's most popular for. Just doesn't seem like great casteing for a dark action flick like Blade.
