1017 on Veeshan
Seems I have been having 1017 problems since yesterday around noon est -- Can't log on to veeshan, yet I have no problems with (most) other servers. Anyone else finding this issue? It seems to be very rare, and SoE as usual is unconcerned.
miir and I are best friends.

1017s are the result of you not talking with the world server.
I've been able to access Veeshan just fine all day yesterday.
Maybe there is a router down in the path from you to SoE that I don't have to go through.
Try to do a tracert veeshan.everquest.com and look at the output .. if you see high numbers or *'s show up -- that's bad.

I havent had much problems with 1017 but my patience has been tried as of late with EQ freezes..
Whenever i log onto Eq (in Pok) after a couple of minutes my screen just freezes and i have to keep rebooting my puter.
I hear lots of people have been having the same thing.. i was told to keep away from Pok and so far it seems to be working.
So if anyone is having similar issues try not to spend too much time in pok hehe.

I get all stars -- must be the issue I guess. Whoever is hosting the router obviously doesn't care to fix it either heh.Llaffer wrote:1017s are the result of you not talking with the world server.

If it is ALL stars, then it sounds like a problem with your ISP's routers.Rellix wrote:I get all stars -- must be the issue I guess. Whoever is hosting the router obviously doesn't care to fix it either heh.Llaffer wrote:1017s are the result of you not talking with the world server.

If it is only messed up in the last 4 or 5 hits of the list then it is SoE's routers.
If there is anything in the middle, then there really isn't much you can do.
