Explore the great outdoors

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Explore the great outdoors

Post by Fredonia Coldheart »

I followed the link in Xyun's post about the poker chips and saw that they did a custom job for Geocaching.com and thought I would bring it to your attention.

It is actually a pretty cool site. Hubby and I just recently started and I've gotten other friends involved also. Cool way to get outside and explore your local area. Also fun if you are traveling.

Wow, thats some neat stuff.. I put in my city (55k people) and it came up with 37 results within a 100 mile radius (20 of which were in about a 20 mile radius).. interesting indeed!

I do this with my friend pretty much every weekend it's nice outside. It's quite a bit of fun! We're thinking instead of hunting geo-caches though, we'll hunt the geo-cachers! The last cache we went to we saw 2 other groups of people there. Couldn't open the container though, very frustrating!

Just went out today for about 4 hours of geocaching, found 1 out of 2 caches, and managed to scrounge up 3 lovely ticks between me and my friend!

mmmm tick season is upon us in Manitoba!
