Watched:

Prey For Rock and Roll: 0 stars Umm this movie has hot chicks kissing, and it sucks. Nuff Said

Spun: 3 Stars, This movie is a TRIP, excellent acting, odd but effective cutting, odd story but interesting, basically a bizarre trip. BTW if you leave it on the credits screen the sounds will become so oppressive after a bit if you stop the sound it literally feels like a weight off your shoulders
The Third Wheel: 2 Stars, 4 stars as a date flick. Ben Afflect, Matt Damon, Denise Richards, Luke whats his name, but the guy that played the third wheel in the flick was excellent, I am sure you can IMDB it if interested, but was a great date flick.
Runaway Jury: 3 stars, could be 4 with about 45 minutes cut from the movie. All of Grishams stuff starts to feel the same after a while, but this movie is fun.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003: LOL to be honest, not enough gore, way to much bore and thought, but the lead female wears a great tight wet tshirt, so enough T, not enough blood.

We had nasty weather here so I watched DVDs too.

House of Sand and Fog Excellent movie and fantastic acting. Watch this on a rainy, depressing day as this movie is extremely sad and depressing. Girl loses house due to her own stupidity, ex-Colonel from Iran and family move in, girl tries to get back house at all costs, major tragedy ensues.

Master and Commander This movie was somewhat entertaining. I had a hard time understanding what people were saying due to thick accents sometimes. Basically, it's a story about a man that leads a ship to battle and conquer another ship that is far superior in build and speed to his.

I still have Cheaper by the Dozen and Anger Management to watch yet!

For whatever reason, I have no desire to see Master and Commander...at all. And I really don't know what the reason is. But I'm not going to question it either.

Then don't see it. I had that same desire (or lack there of) and decided to watch it. It is fucking stupid. If you saw Pirates of the Carribean and liked it, you'll hate this movie.

I liked Master and Commander. It is a decently made movie that deals with the moral dilemnas of life...granted on a different type of setting than our everyday lives, but it deals with the decisions, the hard ones, that people make, and why they make, and why they are a good/bad person for doing so.

I just feel it connects well to the audience.

As for why it was nominated for like 10 academy awards...that's the fucken mystery...it wasn't THAT good.

I saw Master and Commander in the theatre and when it was all over I wasn't disappointed. Granted, I don't believe it deserved as many nominations as it received... and I probably won't rent it anytime soon... but it was a beautiful cinematic movie, the acting wasn't overly cheesy and the story was engaging. Perhaps seeing it on the big screen added to the effect. I'd recommend it to anyone with a night to blow who can appreciate a movie for more than how many T&A scenes or cheesy plotlines it can have.
