I voted CoH for two reasons.
1. It's the most fun I've had since early EQ.
2. I have no interestest in a game which is by all accounts a brutal treadmill catassfest.
Having said that if people are having fun with, and enjoy Lineage 2, more power to them!

Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.
I enjoyed Lineage 2. I can't see myself playing it though with the chat system and UI. Although I haven't played much of CoH, it seems much fresher and varied than Lineage 2. (there is rampant duping and the economy will be a huge problem IMO with or without duping)
I may not play either but if I play one it'd probably be CoH as it's geekier.
WoW looks like a badly drawn distorted cartoon with the option to place a flag banner on your back and call it a cloak. nuff said!

I voted CoH.
For me, L2 seemed nice, but I couldn't handle the movement. Click...click...click...click. And if you use WASD, it's very rough and very slow.
I just created "Tampon Man" in CoH last night, so I haven't played it enough to bitch, but where are the PC villains? WTF? PVE is too...static. And where's my Tampon cave and do I get a Tamponmobile? Oh well, for the couple of hours I played last night, it was VERY fun. Looking forward to playing tonight. Oh, the exp bar in CoH is driving me nucking futs. It dings every time I get a full bar, which really only equals a fraction of a level, but I fall for it every time the bar fills up. It goes ding, and I start cheering, and then I realize I'm still level 2. Someone needs to be dragged into the street and shot over this.

The 'Chronicle 1' patch for L2 isn't coming out until 'early June' according to an email I got from NC this morning. I won't be buying it immediately if this is true most likely. Might pick up CoH instead, and then check out L2 later after they patch the bugs and stuff.

Why Virtue with everyone else on Victory? From reading the other thread, it appeared that for those that preordered, Victory would be up three days before the rest of the servers. Seems like the first three servers will be way overpopulated though.Kilmoll the Sexy wrote:And lets not forget that you might actually be able to tell people apart in CoH. L2's character creation could have been designed by a 6 year old mongoloid. We will give them 12 choices total! But you can see little girls in underwear!
Atrocious.

Hey, the inkies definitely aren't "little." The jiggle factor of the DE girls is friggin amazing. Too bad the PvE sucks so much ass.Kilmoll the Sexy wrote:And lets not forget that you might actually be able to tell people apart in CoH. I do have to say that the PvP, what little I saw (only 2 lvl 10 chars), is very fair and balanced. Someone ganks you, their name turns red, then ANYONE can now attack them without penalty. I got PK'd a couple times (always at 1/4 health), and each time I was able to run back after respawn and gank the ganker. Revenge is sweet.
I just can't see putting in the DAYS of exp grinding necessary to get 40+ to get to do the PvP seiges or raise a dragon.

It is because I was too lazy to look up which server was which....I had a 50-50 chance of being right. I am reserved on whichever one the head-start folks get. Victory....Virtue....whateverWinnow wrote:Why Virtue with everyone else on Victory? Well, no shifting a la ChameleonMan etc..
You can change your shape with some of the sets though, Spines(Spines come out all over your body and you can stay that way as long as you wish and then turn back to normal) and the Stone Armor set(Stones cover your body).
About Shaerra's question, what happens in the higher lvls, still fighting thugs on the streets?
There are Elder zones for the end game that you fight in, still, it's fighting enemies but not thugs in the streets!
We're talking Demons, Aliens, Monsters and so on...
The Hamidon is a high-lvl encounter that requires several teams( a whole supergroup! ) to be able to beat.
The CoH Storyline is also very good! I wont reveal too much, but later in the lvls, if you fight a certain enemy, things will happen to your char that wouldn't happen if you didnt choose to fight that enemy!
I also read a post by Statesman, and he revealed some of the things that come in retail and the upcoming patch. More interactivity!
For example, if you are defeated in one of the 5th Columns Fortresses you encounter later in the game, instead of ending up at hospital, you will be captured and put in a cell in the fort! You need to break out of the cell and find your team-mates to be able to escape.

Btw if you are interested in CoH, you should read the comic. They have one online you can download in adobe reader files.

Under Navigate Comic Book, go to Promotional Comic Book. It gives background on one of the main villain groups, The 5th Column.
