Handguns are illegal in Washington? I had no idea. Isn't that unconstitutional or something?

You can still register shotguns and rifles in DC, just not handguns.

I'm surprised and half way disappointed that the congressman wasn't from Texas. I mean what's this world coming to when a congressman from a pansy ass state like Indiana is better armed than one from Texas :(.

Senator Diane Feinstein from California is one of the most staunch supporters of gun control in the country. If it limits guns in any way, you can bet she'll support it. However, if anyone were to check her purse, she has a lisence to carry a concealed firearm and, if I remember correctly, a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun.

She was stopped a while back at an airport in California and had the gun on her. It was cleared because she had the permit to carry, but it still made for a funny bit of editoral.

Washington DC has the most restrictive gun rights in the country and also one of the highest crime rates.

Outlaw guns and only the outlaws will have them is definitely true there.

I can't believe they actually allow you to vote. Will you believe anything?
