Ya i just got done reading the FAQ. A lot of vague information and promises of 3rd generation stuff. Let the hyping begin! Though they do have a talented staff, lets just hope they learned from all the past mistakes they made in EQ.

In other words, it will be an eq clone with improvements. I guess that worked for ac1 2, daoc, swg, horizons, and soon to come wow.Vanguard will have the advantage of looking back at both generations, learning again from what worked and didn't work with all of those games. In other words, we will be able to analyze EQ 2, WoW, etc. too.
Eq will not be beaten by someone who just makes an eq clone with fixes, it needs to be a completly new game altogether.
Their FAQ looks more like a pitch to venture capitalists for some investment money more than a teaser for a MMORPG. Well as much as I may not like the choice, it's Microsoft's money behind it, I seriously doubt he needs any other backers. It's a working game currently on a small scale, E3 will probably be the debut, bet on next spring release, which means august probablykyoukan wrote:
