While I like the idea, I have a few issues with mass emails send for good purposes such as software updates, newletters subcribed to, etc.
I think there should be a permissions system. If you could authorize certain IPs (or even specific email registration numbers) to send you email then we'd be in good shape. I like the idea of allowing a hundred free emails a month for non business email users and then kicking in the penny or two pennies (.25 for canadians) for each email sent thereafter.
