Good Ep. last night. A lot more of a To Be Continued than usual too.

Joss directed it but it was a lot less artzy than his usual directorial stints. Following up Puppet Angel had to be somewhat of a pressure as well.

Good episode, was wondering how they were going to fill the rest of the season after the somewhat anticlimactic battle between Angel and Lindsey. Will be interesting - but they better not kill Fred.

I think this may be the plan all the long, imo.
The senior partners have managed to essentially:

Damn Gunn (literally)
Get All-of-the-Light aligned against Angel (reference Andrew and the slayerettes; remember that Buffy was the one to give the order that psycho-slayer stays out of his hands?
Drive Wes into random acts of violence (reference: shooting that lawyer in the leg)
...and Kill Fred / turn her into another Demon-Goddess, ala Cordy and the Beastmaster.

Not a bad play, even WITH Lindsy's interference.
