Starsky & Hutch

Post by Sirensa »

Saw a sneak preview of this over the weekend and I have to say it owned!!

Course I would take my opinion with a grain of salt as I love Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and love cheesy movies. And Snoop Dogg as Huggy Bear was hilarious.

Two thumbs up!

I've been having great fun with the pimp name generator on the web site. Baracus kicked it up a notch and added the pic. Props to Bara.

You should be both white and a rapper at the same time. That would be cool. :P

Is this movie like spoof on Starsky and hutch? Kind of like what the Brady Bunch movie was? If it is then I may go see it. If not then I won't. I remember watching the tv series as a kid and it was boring as hell for me.

I saw the sneak preview back a few weeks ago, I must have missed this thread, but I really liked the movie, it was very funny. I think everyone is going to be seeing the phrase "Do it, C'mon. Do it." in a week or two.

I think this is one of those that you wait until it goes to vidoe to see. I liked the original show and not sure if a spoof of the show would be that great.

Any movie that has Amy Smart sucking face with super-skank Carmen Electra is worth my eight dollars.

That's an old, old, old, old Ben Stiller bit, too. I'm sorta surprised to see he's bringing it back.

That was a line frequently used by a recurring character of Fox Networks' Ben Stiller Show back in like 1991.

If you haven't seen any of those old shows, pick up the DVD. Ben Stiller, Andy Dick, Bob Odenkirk, Janeane Garofolo... The show was great.

Bob Odenkirk playing "Ask Manson" is genius.

Very funny movie. The scene where they busted the Korean was priceless.

Also, the appearance of the cover band from Old School was worth the ticket price alone.

it was pretty good, a little slow at times

****SPOILER*****

I thought one of the funniest things i have ever seen on a movie screen was Hutch poking the dead body with a stick trying to get it to float away to the next county

Funny shit - bit slow and seemed to go a little longer than it should have, but damned funny anyways.
