This month's OXM (Official X-Box mag) has, on it's disk, a demo version of the much anticipated, highly hyped, Ninja Gaiden.
Words can't describe how awe inspiring this game is. I think that someone at TeamNINJA is actually Jesus Reborn (J2.0) and has been pushing the buttons behind this project.
The action is fast paced and with quite a bit of gore, graphics are extremely smooth and absolutly beautiful, enemies and combat is quite challenging and the first part of the first chapter in the demo was extremely well designed.
My only gripe was with a bit of an awkward camera but I got used to that quite quickly.
I'm buying this when it comes out and so should you.
(Not on the demo but apparently the multiplayer is gonna be something of a tournament mode when you get to pit your ninja skills against other players online. MS will be holding a huge Master Ninja Tournament through Live afte the game is released.)
The game, ATM, is an x-box exclusive.

I've been following this game myself. Very anxious for it.
It actually caught my attention because of the first Ninja Gaiden on... Sega was it?
Anyhow, like you said. Everything on it looks great. I'm gonna get it when it comes out.
*edit*
Does it have a release date in that magazine Aka it's been changing a lot recently

Last I heard it was March 2nd. Funny thing is that I've starting to see TV spots for it already so stores must be getting quite a bit of demand for it.Dups. wrote:I've been following this game myself. Very anxious for it.

I think it was in the arcade first as a beat-em-up. The nintendo ones, while I didn't play them very much (was gaming on a C64 at the time) apparently had a nice mix of action.
The demo was good, if not a major button smasher. While there was a lot of ways to make the kills look good, I preferred the nunchaka boss fight or the white ninjas to the fodder. I also liked the moves that were very PoP Sands of Time.
I think I'll rent it at the very least, haven't finished a game in years now, so it's not worth buying outright, unless the trip is a blast, any longer.
