Karaoke Revolution for PS2

Post by Waran »

Anyone else play this game? Granted singing in groups is frightening for some and questions of sexuality abound, this is really a fun game.

Got a Platinum hit on my first attempt at Every Morning by Sugar Ray. Ended up singing, Red Red Wine, Crawling in the Dark, Power of Love, It's the End of the World as we know it (which is harder than hell to sing), Complicated, the list goes on hehe.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, you basically choose a song from the song list and sing into the PS2 headset while the lyrics go by on the screen. It detects if your tone is right on the mark or not and scores you accordingly. If you nail the song lyrics, the crowd reacts in a positive way, if you suck they let you know :p

You can play head to head which on the 3rd round it will randomly pick a song for you to sing.

There were some damn close impersonations of the actual artists for copyright reasons of course, but it was a ton of fun.

If you're looking for fun with your friends and can get past the nervous barrier, then this game is a blast. :) Canelek and his mates should check this game out!

I love this game, as you well know!
Coatlicue Tlatoani [Retired] ~ Keepers of the Elements ~ Keeper of the Gnome
Sinnahmynh ~ 60 Gnome Warrior ~ Light of Dawn (WoW) ~ Lightbringer
Kailye * Kyonmoon * Shinyong (Horde) ~ Light of Dawn (WoW) ~ Lightbringer

Zoe: No one's gonna force you to go, Jayne. As has been stated -- this job's strictly speculative.
Jayne: Good. Cause I don't know these folks, don't much care to.
Mal: They're whores.
Jayne: I'm in.

I have volume 2 as well, but haven't played it much.

My PS2 hasn't been turned on in about 3 months - DAMN YOU REAL LIFE!

I do enjoy the singing games.
