discuss!
Free speach in America?
free speech has nothing to do with a corporations choice on who it will allow to advertise during their programming.
but i think this is a good commercial.
i'm sure MoveOn.org has no expectation of CBS ever showing this commercial, and would prefer not to pay the super bowl ad rate. But it gives them a convenient publicity platform to get a very large number of viewers from the internet at a microscopic fraction of the cost (the web hosting). pretty smart move.

So CBS decided not to run ads that would piss off the beer swilling rednecks that will comprise 80% of their target audience?

Exactly! There is no way in hell moveOne.org can sell out the change for a suoerbowl commercial slot. Instead, they make a bid for it, get de-nied, and scream bloody murder. Or something like that.Voronwë wrote:free speech has nothing to do with a corporations choice on who it will allow to advertise during their programming.
