You know, they made a 3rd movie in that series. You might still be able to catch it in the theaters.

Too often it seems it is the peaceful and innocent who are slaughtered. In this a lesson may be found that it may not be prudential to be either too peaceful or too innocent. One does not survive with wolves by becoming a sheep.

I like them all soo amazingly much that I can't really say one was better than the others, but in spirit of this poll I will pick one:
I would say Fellowship of The Ring, because I was just so incredibly hyped up for this series(all 3 books are my favorite books of all time). It felt like such a great award to have finally gotten to see the first one. I didn't really know what to expect, I mean they could have butchered it, but it was adapted so amazingly well it pulled me right in and at the end, I did not want to leave the theater. I sat through all of the credits, just in awe. Having to organize the abundance of great feelings flowing through me and realize that this was just the beginning. Amazing felling I tell you, amazing.
The second I walked out of the theater I really felt like I had just seen something truly wonderous, and to think, that was just the beginning...
The 2nd and 3rd were just as good and in some aspects better than the first, but seeing the first of the greatest movie trilogy ever will always be a strong memory of cinematic enjoyment and satisfaction.
P.S. Eggnog(w/ rum) is waaay too good...
