Charlize Theron goes thru in interesting change for her new movie, playing the role of Aileen Wuornos, a prostitude who was executed last year in Florida for a string of murders she claimed was in self defense.

So hot!

According to the reviews I've read on the official site she apparently pulls the character off beautifully. And not just due to her drastic cosmetic/physical transformation for the role, but to the amount of emotion and life she breathes into the character.
Roger Eber wrote:It's not "acting" in some conventional sense involving technique and method or makeup or whatever-she evokes the mind and soul of this woman, in a presence so focused and so intense and so true that although she is a monster, we feel deep sympathy for her.
As much as I'm looking foward to seeing this movie, it's only showing in a select amount of theaters, all of which are in a one-two state range. I guess I'll be waiting for the DVD. :(

Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong:

She looks good in the top picture but she looks pretty nasty in the bottom one. Doesn't encourage me to see her in the movie at all. Obviously they don't want to overglamorize a movie based on a prostitute murderer but since they already took the sick step of documenting the sickos life then they should just make her look good throughout.

I would imagine that the movie's producers are trying to encourage you to see the movie based on Charlize Theron's acting rather than her looks. She's in the movie because of what they thought she could bring to the role, not because you're supposed to go "omg hot chick in this movie, must see!"
