Logitech MX700 for mouse. Accept no substitude. If price is a big concern, I like the optical intellimouse explorer a lot too.
I have a Logitech wireless keyboard, not sure the model. Itouch something or other. I'm EXTREMELY picky about the touch of the keys on my keyboards, and I recommend you try out as many as possible before you just go and buy one.

Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

MS and Logitech wireless optical mice are both pretty nice, price wins in between them for me.
IBM still markets "heavy duty" 104 key keyboards (model KB-7953). CompUSA carries them for about $35. I like the key feel, and they last long enough for you to wear the paint off the keys. I've never had to replace one. Heavy too, so it doesn't slide around your desk. I probably ought to grab a couple extras for when they quit selling them.

IBM Keyboard circa 1987. Tactile feel, sturdy design and no fucking Windows key.
EDIT: Just noticed it was mentioned above, I concur.
Mouse? Really - is there a huge difference in them? A cordless or other supermouse is just as prone to breaking than a $5 mouse from Best Buy.
EDIT: OK, I think optical mouse wins hands down over having to scape the crap off the connectors that the rubber ball variety seems to grab. Go optical. I have one at work and plan to put one in at home when the current one breaks in a few years.
Put the $$ in your box, where it really matters.
