We had approx 6-8 people on tonight, and I have to say, we kicked our fair share of ass.

And if you do solo the exp is just as good. You can get upwards of 500 exp per kill now. I got 1500 in one nice long burst from Mr Chaingun.

I was doing striker defense for a Tower last night, and with all the extra aircraft, I was knocking em down fairly often - I was getting 587xp twice for each kill. Can't remember how it works, is it just a duplicated message, or am i actually getting a total of 1174 for each of those kills?

I think 1174 as in 587 for destroying the aircraft and 587 for killing the pilot, i was doing the very same thing last night in a tower with my burster max, of course i was squaded at the time

plus i noticed i seemed to get random experience sometimes after I or another member of the squad got killed (i was secretly hoping halo would get killed more often because just about everytime he died, i got 200 exp)

soloing can mean more experience but i enjoy grouping because it is advantageous to the guys who are just starting out and get them more BR so they can kill more shit like sailex, plus its easier to keep track of where everyone else is

We need some more people that are gungho and braindead like sailex and i, the kind of guys that run into the middle of the zerg take out four before being slaughtered

i know its all about the strategy of the outfit to hit and run

i try to hold back but my MCG makes me bloodlust, I have a terrible fits of anger and like to take it out with burst of chaingun fire and striker missiles

today when i was consistently rushing, i actually noticed that that ahole EVILPIG was backing up and running away from me

i killed him about 6 times in a row, he's not so tough without his jackhammer and surge implant

Hello again. Came back here out of boredom and noticed you fired up PS again. I've been playing FFXI like a crackhead but need a serious break. Reinstalled PS and found that while I had no certs, I do get a free month again.

OMG stupid your back, wtf happened to you and the DTP boys, I lost contact after i moved and lost my cable. I finally fixed my damned MSN. I am playing again you homo, look for me as poppa or xzibit. You DTP still playing on emerald as NC. You fuckers never sent me the invite you bastages.

Anyways, I play most every night as TR, the game kind of grew on me again, sorta like testicular cancer if you get stuck in a tower with a surgile jackhammer user.

You still playing UT? I do occasionally but there are so many damned cheaters nowadays its not fun. If so, get on OPP IRC channel and will fire up the game for oldtimes sakes. The only DTP'ers i see regularly are Mal and Rubi. Most of the us old-school OPP'ers playing weaps PUG's on sunday nights. UT is still fun with the old crew, your more than welcome to join us.

And bump for those that have played Planetside in the past and hated the Jackhammer whores:

The tri-barrel reload time has effectively been a bug all this time. The original design calls for the tri-barrel to reload one barrel, then rotate, then reload another, then rotate, then reload the last. Fixing this brings it back to the balance intended...and it's overdue.
This doesn't decrease the power of the Jackhammer's tri-barrel attack at all. However, it does bring a price to using it...as intended.

And I have absolutely no fear that the tri-barrel will still be used. It's far too effective indoors to be ignored.
