Heh yea. My band is releasing our debut CD on Benchmark / Lax Wax Records and will be doing a brief stint of dates in the South. If you like heavy / stoner rock, mebbe you could make it out.

December 4th - St. Louis, MO @ Way Out Club

December 5th - Little Rock, AR @ Downtown Music w/Southern Gun Culture

December 6th - New Orleans, LA @ Checkpoint Charlie's w/Southern Gun Culture and the SUPLECs

December 7th - Houston, TX - @ Rudyards w/Southern Gun Culture

EDIT: The Austin date on the 13th fell through and changed to a date in the Dallas area.

Might try the Dec13 show depending on what time it is. I know that Threadgill's usually starts some shows around 7ish during the summer, but I haven't seen showtimes since August to know. It will all depend on whether or not it's during the time of my company's xmas party that night.

I've not been to Austin, but the band we're doing some of our dates with Southern Gun Culture is from there.. They said the place is pretty cool.

Austin date on the 13th fell through for some reason. We have been rescheduled in the Dallas area w/ Southern Gun Culture, Deep Under Dirt and several others. Show is at The Lone Star Country Club in Coppel.

Heh wow didnt know you were in a band Llelyuvn ;) Hit me with a PM and tell me the details of your Little Rock gig. Probably be the closest place for me to get to (bout 3hr drive from memphis). Would snag some friends and come see you guys play.

Dunno wtf is up with that. Anyway, I wasn't doing music really when I was in EQ. Music was a huge part of my life during and after high school. As time passed and bands I was in fell apart and the career thing took hold so priorities changed. Whatever. Over the last few years I've gotten back into it. It isn't to a point where it is full time or anything, but we are having a fucking blast and making a little money. We've got a great label behind us 100% and have some momentum locally. We won ten grand in a local battle of the bands late summer, and just had a great CD release weekend.. We'll see what happens.

As far as the Little Rock gig it's at a joint called Downtown Music. Address is 215 W Capitol. We're playing with a killer band from Austin, TX called Southern Gun Culture and a couple of local openers I believe. That is really all I know about the gig. I just googled the joint and found what looks like it could be a webpage (hah) http://www.downtownshows.homestead.com/downtown1.html If I could send a fucking PM up in this joint I'd shoot you my phone # in case you do make it out.

hehe, the pictures of the club remind me about why you don't want to see them during the day. I remember fixing some of my lights in the club I was working at during an afternoon and realizing how different it was in full daylight.

Rud's is always 21 and up as well.. just in case you or anyone you are going with is underage.
