Angel: New season

The outs:
Connor, Coredelia.
Sorry to see the latter go, but the former was a mistake to even begin with.

The ins:
Harmony, Eve (Angel's leasion to the Senior Partners), and Spike.

The questions:
How are they going to handle Angel and co running the LA branch of Wolfram and Heart? Allready you can see the problems developing.. and I don't think it's going to be easier. (Although watching the head sec guy blow his head off was mildly entertaining.)

What role will Spike play?

And lastly. Who mailed Angel the locket?
If you saw the final episode of Buffy, Spike uses that locket (or it uses him) to close the Hellmouth.. turning spike into dust in the process. Even more important, it's one of the first things to fall INTO the Hellmouth, followed by the rest of Sunnydale. Yet, at the end of the first episode.. Angel opens a hand written envelope mailed to him specifically.

Interesting, yes.

The episode was a great opener and really sets the ball rolling in the right direction for the rest of the season.

The last few lines of the Ep. after Spike appears and Harmony pops in
"..Blondie Bear?" had me ROFL.

Ditto on being glad they got rid of whiney Connor. Cordie kinda lost her place in the show somewhere between the 3rd and 4th season. Sad but it happens.

All in all I'm looking forward to the next ep.

I watched the season premiere, but I am so lost. I never watched Angel until now (because of Spike!).

The first couple of seasons are out on DVD right? Should see about getting them.

Spike didn't appear until the very end of the eppy. So, they'll probably explain it next week.

I thought the opening scene with the lawyers and the wetworks team showing up was really funny. Overall I thought it was a good first episode.

Spike didn't just get turned to dust - he shut down the hellmouth with that amulet.. which then fell in right after.

Hmm my memory sucks but I dont actually remember seeing the locket fall in at the end of Buffy, but like I stated bad memory I could be wrong. And so if we didnt see it happen then we can elude that someone got it, Buffy, Powers that Be, etc right hehe

ANd since when the locket fell out of the envelope releasing Spike its safe to say that when he turned to ash during a magical event and was therefore traped in the locket then said locket could be like a container holding him in that form til released. Just my opnion

Yes 1st season ANgel is being or been released. THey also just started showing the 1st season on TNT at 5pm est time. Leaset where I live I get it so can also do that but I am gonna get them all love that show.

I think Spike will be great on this show. I loved him on Buffy good and evil he was just great, but as he got nicer he got funnier

Cordie left for not sure on the exact reason but think she was just tired she was on buffy for what 4 5 seasons? then ANgel for a good 3 or more thats a long time in that role. I did like her tho. I dont think Connor was a total mistake but I dint like how they had them have sex and a kid that was just wrong. But we all know it was something that took over her and did all that. But wasnt my fave stuff hehe

No, it went in.

Remember, when the locket started laying waste to the ubervamps, it also started ripping into the mouth itself. Moments after Buffy bailed out of the hellmouth and back into the Sunnydale High basement, the ceiling began to collapse and fell right ontop of where spike had just been.

Season 1 and 2 of Angel are out on DVD, and I plan on getting them when fiscally possible. I've been watching the season 1 episodes on Space and they're so good.. I can see why they got rid of Cordie, she's just nowhere near as good as she was back at the start of the series.

I'm a bad person. I downloaded workprint versions of episode 1 and 2 (you know, the kind where instead of fancy special effects, you have a green blob covering half the screen and some text saying stuff like "FX: Demon Energy travels up and down the arm"), and I'm positively surprised.

Spike *is* back.

hehe Told you I had a bad memory
