Slackers, Bitches and Pimps...

Post by Diae Soulmender »

Thought that might catch yer eye...

So I went out and bought me an XBox. I enjoy many types of games, but to be honest I am only really familiar with playing games on my computer.

I view a Console System as a nice gateway for playing Race Games and Sports Games.

I have purchased ATV2 (Quad racing game) and it is very fun.

I have also bought Halo and am withholding comment until I play it more and have some better understanding...

I do not really wish to play FPS or "Online Games" on my XBox.

What games do you all recommend keeping in mind I enjoy Racing and some sports games... also why do you like the game?

I was checking out Project Gotham Racing... looks cool. Any comments?

What about Amped2? Its a snowboarding game. Looks cool. Any comments?

Peace yo and thanks for you input and of course a hearty "Go fuck yourself" if not -hehe

The game you definitely want is Knights of the Old Republic I would recommend buying this LONG before I'd recommend Halo. It sounds like you're having the same reservations about Halo that I did.

I also think Jet Set Radio Future is worth checking out if you want to try something different. Hard to explain that game.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

NASCAR Thunder 2003 by EA Sports was actually a great racing game for the XBox. I don't have my box (or the game) anymore, so I cannot go into any specifics, but it was a blast to play.

Soul Caliber 2, especially if you have friends to play it with.

Knights of the Old Republic is in my opinion easily the best Star Wars game to date.

Get Soul Caliber 2! The XBox version is the best because you can be Spawn(from the comics). Get it!

Knights of the old republic was cool.

Jet Set Radio Future came with my Xbox aranuil...it had two games on one disc, the other was the car racing game...I forget the name of it.

I can't really recommend anything but knights of the old republic though, because Syberia was eh..blah...and DOA xtreme Beach Volleyball was alright but I would have liked to control the characters a bit more.

I just recently got my Xbox, so my knowledge of the games is small.

Funny you said that... I went out and bought it and I agree! Totally kicks ass!

I hear a lot about this game, but I dont know... it just seems to me its another Street Fighter series only you get to hack people with swords. Cool and all, but I really dont want to have to learn 1000 different button combonations to get that "Fatal Blow" and shit like that... Carpel Tunnel! hehe

Drivin' in circles didn't appeal to me either. Neither did NASCAR in general, but it IS a kickass racing game. Also, the one that came with Jet Set Radio was decent as well.
