Would that be semi-friendly fire?
"There is at least as much need to curb the cruel greed and arrogance of part of the world of capital, to curb the cruel greed and violence of part of the world of labor, as to check a cruel and unhealthy militarism in international relationships." -Theodore Roosevelt

no that would be a bunch of poorly trained, murderous rednecks with a rambo complex that shoot first and ask questions later. twenty bucks says none of them will be disciplined either.

“We were chasing a white BMW with bandits,” Mohammed said from his hospital bed. “We turned around in front of Jordanian Hospital and some American forces started shooting at us. They continued firing for about an hour despite our pleas for them to stop and to tell them we are police and security.
I don't know what's more pathetic, the soldiers who continued to kill despite the pleas, the authorities who won't even bother to prosecute these soldiers for their crimes, or the dipshits on this forum who will defend this action.

[quote] “We were chasing a white BMW with bandits,” Mohammed said from his hospital bed. “We turned around in front of Jordanian Hospital and some American forces started shooting at us. They continued firing for about an hour despite our pleas for them to stop and to tell them we are police and security.
Members of the Jordanian armed forces guarding the hospital apparently also opened fire when the Americans began shooting, catching the Iraqi police in a crossfire. One of the guards was killed.
The 100-bed Jordanian military field hospital was sent in April to provide Iraqis and others with medical care.
“We were in between firing from all sides,” Mohammed said. “We were in the middle.” Three of the thieves were also killed, and nine other police officers were wounded, police told Reuters. Earlier reports put the death toll at 12 Iraqi officers. The Jordanian hospital was badly damaged, its side peppered by bullets and shells. Spent bullet casings littered the road nearby, next to dried pools of blood.
Nearly 24 hours later, U.S. military authorities still had no official comment on what had happened. They did say that U.S. forces had come under a rocket-propelled grenade attack in the area and that one U.S. soldier was wounded. [quote]

I would assume that its being investigated to make sure exactly what happened from all sides. But I know that sense there are Americans involved we should just collect them up and hang them in the street square so everyone will be happy.

Don't be a moron. However, they have to account for their actions just like the US would demand anyone else to account for theirs.

Double standards is one of the reasons why US doesn't have a shitload of support lately.
