Deaths today

Post by Raistin »

Johnny Cash and John Ritter died today.

Looks like ol death is creeping up on some of the randomest sp? people. Well Cash isnt so random with all his health problems, but Ritter? Maybe he watched some reruns of 3s Company.

Man.. Johnny Cash. I grew up listening to Cash and I have just about all his albums. Last of the rebels who sang some of the best lyrics in american history.

A real legend. Country music is officially dead.

I'm going to put up some MP3's later on.

Johnny Cash was a big part of my childhood as well but he has been ailing for years so I wasn't surprised...sad but not surprised.

John Ritter on the other hand. I am shocked to see him dead but I was never that impressed with his acting ability. Three's Company was just so painful to watch and it really killed my interest in all thsoe B movies he did on lifetime and crap. Sucks to see he was so young though.

Johnny Cash's wife died a couple months ago, so its not terribly surprising to see him go soon thereafter. Sad though... at least he got that one last album out.

I actually liked John Ritter. Everytime I watch threes company, it makes me want to be him..living in the 70's/early 80's with two good looking slim chicks that are nitwits. Man, what a life. Adios Ritter.

I think Ritter's best piece of work was in Slingblade.

Cash you could have seen that coming, but poor Jack Tripper!
Three's Company was just so painful to watch

You couldn't have grown up in the 70's then. That show was just hilarious back then.

Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" by NIN was really something. RIP dude.

That is what is so crazy, he just came out with an album and won some awards for it 3 weeks ago. I am not that shocked, but for a second I thought he would have hung around a bit longer. :(
