Man dies while trimming trees

GLASGOW -- A Glasgow man was electrocuted about 6:30 p.m. Sunday while trimming trees at a home in Glasgow.

Valley County Sheriff Glen Meier said Ronald Stensland, 40, a commercial tree-trimmer, was using a chain saw with an extension and was on an aluminum ladder. He said Stensland was killed when the chain saw touched a power line.

Meier said two of Stensland's employees, working on the other side of the house, heard what sounded like a thunder clap. They went to investigate, and found Stensland dead.
