Spell Name Level Target Range Casting Time Recast Time Duration Mana Cost Effect

Guard of Vie 44 Single 100 4 seconds 15 seconds 36 minutes 175 Absorbs 10% of all melee damage until a total of 700 points of damage are absorbed.

I can see how this would be handy. It's like a scaled down rune that only effects damage percentages.
If they were to make this a spell line with additional spells like it around 60, 65, I'd expect that damage to be increased to maybe 20, 35% and 2kdmg.

Enchanters get the 20% dmg absorb version, but the chanter version costs a dot.
