I don't know. If I were a victim of something like this I would want the perp to suffer a lot, death is just an easy way out.

i just saw that on cnn, some of these victims are actually upset because they will never get thier justice served, they just want money, because apparantly blood wasnt enough
hey, if these victims still remember the sexual abuse decades later, it couldnt have been that bad

The strange thing abour prision.. people that commit mass murders go to the top, people that touch children go to the bottom.. and those on the bottom don't tend to live long.

Saves the state in terms of execution costs and housing.. and it really doesn't matter to th eguy who's allready servering 10 life sentances.

The whole heirachy of prison inmates is strange thing. Cop killers are the most respected me thinks.

The real psychopaths definitely don't last long! Look what happened to Jeffrey Dahmer. Wasn't he blugeoned to death with a barbell by another inmante?

I've heard or read somewhere long time ago that inmates that commited crimes against kids (rape, murder etc) are treated "specially" in prisons and sooner or later other inmates attempt to kill them. Sort of weird ethic of prisoners, kill someone and you;'re a murderer, touch a kid and you're the worst scum of them all.

Might be only rumors but there have been people killed in prisons that seem to confirm that rumor.

And some of the victims quoted on Yahoo news in the case of this ex priest were down right feeling sorrry for him, saying that he did deserve to serve a lifetime but didn't deserve to die.

Seems that way Ennia from what I've read. Crimes against kids ranks at the top of my list for severity. It's hard to feel sorry when they are murdered.

criminals have a code of conduct they follow.

it's also important to point out that a significant portion of lifers and career criminals in prison were sexually abused as children. that doesn't give sexual predators much of a chance.

it will be interesting to find out how this pedo managed to wind up in the same room with someone from gen pop. not that I'm complaining about it too much.

As my prison-prone workmate in Arkansas once said, "Even people in prison have kids."

Here was his story that I am now compelled to share.

He was in prison for something. Not sure what, probably drugs. Anyway, as you enter prison for the first time, the guard reads your crime aloud to the woops and hollars of the current inmates. I'm not sure this is common practice, but this is what my friend experianced. So, anyway, the guard would yell out "John Doe, drug trafficing". "John Doe II, sexual assualt". ect.

Well, they get down the line and the guard gets a grin and yells "Well look what we have here! Seems we got our selves a pedofile!" "John Doe III, 3rd degree sexual assualt on a minor!" Just then, the whole crowd goes apeshit-crazy. Everyone's yelling and throwing shit. The guards even have to calm everyone down.

SO!

My buddy tells me he was really glad to go in with a pedofile, because everyone left him and the other new inmates alone and picked on the child toucher. He says on the first night, everyone just verbally assulted him, but didn't attack him or anything. Well, all that changed the first morning. He says he woke up and the child molestor was already awake and looking extremely confused. It seems he was missing his shoes and socks. Someone had stole them in the night. Well, one of the inmates points out that they are under his bed. So the molestor (wait for it!) slowly gets down on his hands and knees and tries to stick his arm under the bed to grab his stuff, but he can't reach. He gets down on all fours and has to stick his head under the bunk to reach them. Of course, this left him in an extremely vulnerable position, with his ass straight up in the air under the bunk past his shoulders. The entire room full of inmates were all watching and waiting for this. Apparently it wasn't the first time they'd pulled this stunt on a new inmate. In one motion, they were on him, holding him 1/2 under the bed by the legs, and raping the shit out of him. My friend said he was still groggy from not having slept that night and it was not a good thing to wake up and see on your first morning in prison. He says they raped him for almost an hour, eventually dragging him out and stuffing a sock in his mouth. They were all caught by a guard, put on lock down, and went to solitary. The guards just assumed he was part of it all, even though he wasn't. No one ever bothered him, but he was terrified from that day forward.

He had a lot of crazy stories like that. I honestly don't remember what my friend was in for, but it couldn't have been a violent offence. He wouldn't hurt a fly.

I have personal experience with this kind of thing, and can honestly say, i when i saw that article felt sorry for those he had caused harm to, that they couldn't have true justice.

My personal view is that i think if anyone does that kind of act, they should become a test subject, for the rest of us. See what new drugs work, which ones don't, i honestly think it would a taste of their own medicine, and they would eventually , after the 45th injection of a TEST drug, realize how TRULY fucked up what they did was. And just think they would have to live with those drug effects for the rest of thier lives...just like their victims.

My own personal experience, isn't something i hide, but enough to say that my main problem with things like this now days, like my own experience, is that the time they get is hardly anything, when they can ruin someone else's life, and only get 7 years, i'm sorry that's BULLSHIT! You can kill a cop, get life, you can murder someone , get LIFE, you molest a child, you get shit for time. It's sick, really, that we have it happen, but when we don't punish the offenders like they should be, i mean honeslty do you THINK they deserve to be let back out into society and to do it again, cuz they will, and they do.

Lastly, yes there is a "prison code" if you will. People who do this type of crime, generally tend to brag about it, and when they do, they become HUGE targets. They don't like them, they don't want them alive, they're worse than scum, they're the most vile thing on earth. Cuz even they see it like , " that guy fucked with a lil kid, that coulda been my baby , or my lil sister". So most of this offense type have to be put into solitary confinement, for THEIR safety.(includes, rapist/ molesters)

This brings back memories.

I still remember saying, "Fuck yeah!" when I heard on the radio that Donald McDougall, the step-father of Ursula Assaid, was beaten to death in prison after an inmate listened to the Russ&Bo show on the 14th aniversery of Ursula's death.

Found this interesting gem while perusing other cases of child abuse.

One boy was routinely forced by his mother to stand in the cellar and retain his urine for several hours as a form of punishment. An adult respondent to a questioner reports urine retention being used as a form of torture to boys living in group facility in the 1950's. The boys were made to drink large glasses of water at supper time and then were forced to retain their urine into the night if they had presented with behavioral problems during the day. When the children would plead for relief, they were threatened with more glasses of liquid. Boys who wet themselves were severely beaten and made to repeat the routine the following night.

Another adult respondent recalls similar torture at a private school that she attended. Toilet use was designated to certain times during the day, except for children who lost their recess time due to misbehavior. The respondent reports that the teachers would look for children displaying obvious signs of distress and then would keep them inside for recess until they wet themselves. These children would then be beaten with a paddle.
